چکیده
Abstract Fusarium basal rot (FBR) is a soil-borne disease that affects Allium species worldwide. Although FBR has long been recognized as major constraint to the production of economically important species, information could support management remains scattered. In this review, current knowledge on causal agents, symptomology and epidemiology, impact, strategies synthesized. We highlight FPR associated with different complexes several which oxysporum F. proliferatum are most prevalent. These pathogenic vary in composition virulence, depending sites hosts, can be challenging for management. Research improve using chemical pesticides, resistance cultivars, biocontrol cultural practices achieved both promising results limitations. Finally, research needs future directions proposed development effective strategies.

Identification of Pathogenic Fusarium spp. Causing Maize Ear Rot and Potential Mycotoxin Production in China
Ear rot is a serious disease that affects maize yield and grain quality worldwide. The mycotoxins are often hazardous to humans and livestock. In samples collected in China between 2009 and 2014, Fusarium verticillioides and F. graminearum species complex were the dominant fungi causing ear rot. According to the TEF-1α gene sequence, F. graminearum species complex in China included three indepe...

متن کاملStem Rot of Garlic (Allium sativum) Caused by Sclerotium rolfsii
Stem rot disease was found in garlic (Allium sativum L.) cultivated from 2008 to 2010 in the vegetable gardens of some farmers in Geumsan-myon, Jinju City, Gyeongnam province in Korea. The initial symptoms of the disease were typical water-soaked spots, which progressed to rotting, wilting, blighting, and eventually death. White mycelial mats had spread over the lesions near the soil line, and ...
